Site Open Day, Shotton, 18th May 2006

The TWIRLS project will be holding an open day at our in-vessel composting and meadow grassland establishment trial site at Shotton, on Deeside. The day will consist of a tour of the trials and a demonstration of our in-vessel composting techniques followed by a light lunch and presentations at Shotton Paper (UPM Kymmene). Royal Welsh Show, Builth Wells, 24 - 27th July 2006

TWIRLS project staff exhibited at the Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells as part of Bangor University's display. The exhibition will showcase the work of the TWIRLS project with a theme of 'land restoration in Wales' and will feature display panels, tree planting demonstrations and a slate waste tip!
